The Gator Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist Campus Ministry serving the college campuses in Gainesville, FL. News Gator Wesley over Summer Break The Gator Wesley Center will be closed for summer break week from June 21-29. There will be no Sunday worship service on June 23. We will reopen with worship and free lunch at 11am on Sunday, June 30. Check back soon for all of the details on Summer B Welcome Week! Gator Wesley Podcast- May 30, 2013
The Gator Wesley Podcast makes a triumphant return in this summer installment! We finally get an explanation of what Evan does at his job all day, and we discuss the three big new releases of the summer so far: Iron Man 3, Star Trek: Into Darkness, and Arrested Development Season 4. Gator Wesley Center Open for Summer A The Gator Wesley Center will be open during Summer A from 10am-11pm Monday-Thursday and from 3pm-8pm on Fridays. Before 3pm, please enter through the office doors on the west side of the building. Weekly events will include Bible Study on Wednesday evening at 7pm in the College Room, and worship on Sunday mornings at 11am. Free student lunch will resume for Summer B in July. Gator Wesley Newsletter – April 2013 Click here to download the January 2013 Gator Wesley Newsletter! The latest issue of the Gator Wesley Newsletter features highlights of our Costa Rica Spring Break Mission Trip, retreats, the Love Campaign, and other spring events! Weekly Opportunities: Dance and Lunch on Campus After Evensong worship on Wednesday evenings, our Gator Wesley Dance Team rehearses. If you would like to be a part of the group, hang around after worship and talk to Katherine Morgan. Also, on Tuesdays and Fridays, there is a group of students who will be eating lunch together on campus. Bring your lunch or pick up something there, and enjoy some community! On Tuesdays they will be at the Reitz Union Foodcourt at 11:45am, and on Friday they will be at the HUB at 11:30am. Spring Schedule 2013: January 6 – April 28 The Gator Wesley Center will be open until 11pm on Monday-Thursday, until 8pm on Friday (later on event nights), as well as on Sundays until 7pm. It is a great place to both hang out and study (FREE wireless internet!). Our regular weekly Spring activities are as follows: Get Your Gator Wesley SWAG! We have lots of great Gator Wesley swag this year! If you fill out an info sheet and leave us your email, you get a FREE cup with a pen and sticker inside. We also have tumblers, sunglasses, new t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, and discounted old t-shirts. There is also a package deal in which you get everything for only $20. Swing by the office during the week or hit up the table at a Wesley event.
