There are opportunities throughout the week to gather in discipleship groups that help you grow in your faith at your own pace or out of your comfort zone.
Fall 2017 Scripture Reading Plan- Join the Gator Wesley Staff (residential staff, interns and ministry staff) as we take part in a daily scripture reading plan this Fall. A link to the document that outlines the daily readings will be posted here at the beginning of the semester. Also, we will be sending out a weekly text reminder each Monday with the readings listed. If you would like to be added to this text reminder email Heather at email@example.com.
Small Group Bible Studies at Wesley
Wednesday’s are the primary night that we gather at 7 pm and meet until 8:30 pm in small groups. It’s a way to recharge and reconnect midweek. Each small group is led by a student leader or staff person, and groups stay together for the full semester so you have the opportunity to grow closer and find encouragement, prayer, and support. Sign-ups begin during Welcome Week and will continue throughout the semester.
We also offer a Pub Theology group on Tuesday nights at 7 pm at the Leonardo’s By the Slice, located on University just east of 13th Street. This group is led by Doug Johnson, Gator Wesley’s Faculty Advisor. Each week they dive into current social, theological, and political topics to discuss and learn about how our Christian faith can influence our thinking, living and loving. All ages are welcome.
Santa Fe College

Emerge: First Year Fellowship
Are you new to UF or Santa Fe? Mondays in the Fall at 8 PM meet at the Gator Wesley Center to get to know other first years! Emerge Leaders will create a schedule of what will be happening each week. Popular Emerge events have been: scavenger hunts, games, frisbee, and all sorts of fun, bonding stuff. Our goal with emerge is creating authentic community. It is also a goal of our to find ways to help new students get connected to a discipleship community on Wednesday nights in the Fall or at other times in the Spring as our discipleship groups begin to form.
