Parents’ Weekend was a HUGE success!!! Thanks to all our student leaders and staff who worked hard to make the weekend so wonderful for all involved. After watching the Talent Show, I’m convinced I have the funniest and most talented students anywhere!

Most important is Summer B Welcome Week (June 26-July 1) when we’re on-campus meeting all the new students. Merciful God,
Sometimes we are inundated with our life, too many things on our mind, too much to do. We look out the window and wonder what life is about, who are you, why are we here. But when you answer our questions we want to run the other direction because your call on our life is so much greater than we will ever be. Because we forget you will be working through us. Just as Jonah fled from you, we ignore our calling, putting ourselves through more doubt and agony. We isolate ourselves because we are overwhelmed or we think we know what will happen. We don’t, Lord, we have no idea about all the good that can come through us following you.
Thank you for consuming us. You reach out to us until we respond. Please help us to submit to your will and REJOICE in it. For though we live in this world, let us not be OF this world, angered easily by that which does not augment our reputation and riches. Let doing good for others be enough and more than enough.
